Four years ago, Burlington Buzz didn’t exist.

It started in February 2022 as a simple idea: that our town deserves clear, consistent, independent information about how our local government works and the decisions it makes for residents — written by someone who actually lives here, pays attention, and cares deeply about the Burlington community.

Since then, Burlington Buzz has grown into a daily habit for thousands of neighbors. We’ve covered town meetings, elections, school issues, development, community events, small victories, and hard conversations — always with the goal of helping residents feel informed, connected, and included.

This work is made possible by readers.

Burlington Buzz is independent. We don’t rely on clickbait, paywalls, or outside interests to decide what gets covered. Instead, we’re supported by people who believe that the work of explanation and connection matters and is worth sustaining.
